Meka is the beloved Chihuahua of Laura and Gary. Meka plays a very important role as mascot for People United for Pets (PUP), a small dog rescue in Issaquah. Almost two years ago, they nearly lost her. After spending several days at Alpine Animal Hospital, it was determined through diagnostic tests that she has Irritable Bowel Disease, Pancreatitis, and also allergies. It quickly became imperative to provide the right diet for her condition. After trying a prescription diet, Laura came into The Pet Factor asking if we could recommend a food. We suggested she try Honest Kitchen’s Keen. Since then Meka has been doing great. Her episodes are much less frequent and she is back to enjoying being the playful, obnoxious little Chihuahua she always has been. Her mom and dad could not be happier!
